On Thursday 09^th of November 2023, Dr Peter Tompson, Chief Executive Officer of the National Physical Laboratory (NPL) in the United Kingdom (UK) visited the MEDICIS facility at CERN. He was accompanied by Dr Leon Lobo, head of the national timing center, and Emma Haynes, NPL partnerships officer.
